Working between Cloud and Code.
Kenkon is a founder-led consultancy from Frankfurt: four founders who come from project work, a worldwide network of 2,500+ consultants and developers — and AI tooling from your first day on the job. We're not hiring talent to fill an org chart; we're looking for people who want ownership. Here's what that means in practice.
What to Expect
Six things that are different here
smart_toy
AI tooling from day one
You get our AI development framework on your first day — the same agents and tools we build client projects with. No tool bans, no shadow-IT hide-and-seek: the AI does the grunt work, you make the decisions.
public
Remote across time zones
Remote-first with a team stretching from Frankfurt to Southeast Asia. We work async because we have to — results count, not core hours. And if you like the Frankfurt office, use it.
engineering
Run by engineers
The four founders have built, migrated, and operated systems themselves. Your work is judged by people who can read code — not by a management layer that counts slides.
handshake
Ownership from week one
Ownership here means: your name is on the result, you talk to the client directly, and nobody rewrites your decisions. We're small enough that your contribution stays visible.
payments
Fair, transparent pay
Competitive salary, comprehensible salary bands, and performance-based bonuses. We talk about money in the first conversation — not the third.
school
A budget for your head
A personal learning budget, ongoing feedback conversations, and room for certifications. We invest in people, not org charts.
How We Work
Small, technical, direct.
Kenkon has no middle layer: you work directly with the founders and with colleagues from a worldwide network. That also means there's nowhere to hide. Good work here shows up as systems running in production — not as a year-end performance review.
check
A direct line to the founders — the shortest escalation path is a call, not a ticket
check
Ownership instead of micromanagement: you get the problem, not a list of steps
check
Feedback continuous and honest — not a once-a-year ritual
check
Async-first across time zones: documented decisions instead of meeting marathons

Applying, minus the theater
This applies to the open roles as much as to spontaneous applications: if you're good at what you do, we want to hear from you — with or without a matching listing.
01
Send us something real
A CV, a GitHub profile, or a project you're proud of — by email, no application portal, no cover letter.
02
Talk to a founder
A founder reads your application, not a piece of software. If it fits, we talk — about the work, not about your greatest weakness.
03
An answer within a week
An offer, a no, or concrete next steps — either way from a person who actually read what you sent.
